I took a bike ride this afternoon. First one for about 2 weeks. I rode about 23 miles and it felt like it when I got back home. Here are a few of the pictures I took.

I saw this snake in the grass. He watched me for a while and then he left. I followed him for a while and then he turned on me as the next picture shows.

Wabash River. It looked just like this 200 years ago. The road I took went along the Wabash for a while.

I was riding along the road and ahead I saw a couple of animals walking down the rode. I didn't pay much attention and just stayed back for a while. Then I got a better look and realized that they were deer. The mother took off through the woods and left the little one. He ran back and forth 6-8 times looking for his mama. He made a most pitiful sound. The woods was very steep were he was and he didn't think he could make it but he finally decided to go.

I saw these birds in a field with some standing water. It is usually hard to get very close to them but I was able to hide in some trees and watch them.
